Today it was slightly windy, I had the Poseidon plate, my wife the Hercules pike. It was very good, the mince and gyros was extremely flavorful. If it wasn't for the second way, we would go there more often.

We were here for lunch on Sunday lunchtime. 1.3pm. 2.30pm a meal came, which I would not recommend in any way. Dirty dining room totally overwhelmed kitchen staff and politely not good food. Don't need a human

Very nice atmosphere on the Rhine, however just lousy service We were with 4 people in the boathouse on Saturday evening., The terrace was well attended but not overcrowded. The first impression: At the entrance to the bar, a younger employee hangs out with a cigarette and smokes the arriving guests. That didn't make a good impression on us at first. More about him later. After we were seated, drinks were quickly taken and brought. When ordering the main courses 1x skewer, 2x rump steak and 1x salmon, they asked whether you could get the salmon with a salad instead of rice. This was answered in the affirmative and then ordered. By the time the food arrived, the first drinks were empty, but no waitress came to ask if we still want something to drink. The young man from the entrance then took the empty glasses and when we asked to order new drinks, he noticed that the colleague was doing it. But that didn't come; not even when the next empty glass was cleared away by the same gentleman and we asked again for drinks. A wheat beer that had already been ordered was simply not delivered. To eat: Skewer and rump steaks ok, the fish came completely burned black with rice. The waiter's comment, we always make salmon in a potty. You can do it but please don't burn it. After the disaster with the drinks, we accepted the salmon and drew future conclusions. Conclusion: The landlord will change soon and move to the other side of the Rhine to Germersheim. He will certainly not see us there.

Spacious restaurant, easy parking. I had ordered the Chef Schnitzel, it will fill you up with a large portion. The fries could be a tad better. Would definitely go again.

I ate here about 5 times and every time it was just delicious. The service is very courteous and even puts you in a good mood. The location next to the Rhine is just as beautiful - especially when you eat on the terrace. The interior ambience also looks very inviting, because a lot of love has been put into details (rustic) and you immediately feel warmly welcomed.

There were four of us eating. Our conclusion: beer is generally not filled up to the calibration mark. Food came 10 minutes later. No service after 35 minutes. Very good taste. Fries fried too long.

Very nice location. Super friendly staff. 2 star deduction for the meal. Ready-made salad from the bottle. Grilled meat looks more like it was cooked. Very spicy.

The Poseidon restaurant is located in Philippsburg in the immediate vicinity of the Rhine. The external appearance does not seem inviting at first. But this is not due to the restaurant itself, but to the boathouse itself. The interior is typical club house. The waitresses are very friendly and helpful. The prices are normal. Portions are large. In terms of taste there is nothing to complain about.

Chill atmosphere, good for families and inexpensive. Would highly recommend at summer.

Sat outside in the sun. The terrace is great to enjoy the weather. Staff was very friendly. Food was good, a few small things could be improved (I personally did not, but words like meat better seasoned, salad dressing, no balsamic deco of rump steak)

Tasty as always, the lamb tasted delicious, friendly staff we look forward to the next time I can only recommend !!!!!!!
